Tips for Pressure Cleaning Brick Pavers

Pressure washing pavers is a time-consuming process that requires a lot of care and attention to detail. You have to be extra careful when pressure washing brick pavers because you can easily damage them.

To avoid damaging the brick pavers, you should avoid using a high-pressure setting or a high-temperature setting. Also, be sure to use a high-quality nozzle that has the right size and angle.

Remember to always test your water pressure before starting. Be sure to never leave your nozzle on while not in use. Always turn it off when not in use because this will help to prevent damage to your nozzle. Use a high-quality detergent that’s specifically designed for pressure washing pavers.

How to Pressure Clean Your Brick Pavers

Use a pressure washer. You can rent one or you can buy one. If you’re going to buy one, make sure it’s a gas-powered model because they have more power than electric models.

Use the appropriate nozzle. When pressure washing brick pavers you want to use a 1.5 or 2-inch nozzle. This will help you avoid damaging your pavers and will allow you to get them really clean.

Start with the lowest pressure setting and work your way up to a higher pressure setting. Start with 20 PSI and work your way up to 80 PSI for maximum cleaning power.

Now start moving the pressure washer back and forth across the pavers. If there are any stains, you’ll want to hold the nozzle in place for about 10 seconds to give the stain time to break up and wash away.

Once you’ve washed all the pavers, run water over them with a garden hose to remove any dirt that may be left behind. The brick pavers should look as good as new once they dry.
